Another beefy 10-game slate tonight as we get closer and closer to what will feel like an interminable Olympic break. Lots of chalk at the top again tonight, and it sure is expensive.

Colorado is the obvious monster chalk tonight. It’s a home matchup against a sloppy Sharks team that loves taking penalties, so yeah. The issue is just the ownership. When you’re paying $10,000 for MacKinnon and he’s pushing 40-45% in small-field stuff, you’re basically buying into the most popular play on the slate at max price. I’m not sure paying for $10,000 skaters is worth it, especially on a huge slate like this. We’ll see guys in the $6,000-$8,000 range potentially put up more valuable scores.
