Justin Jefferson Injury News: WR Progressing from Hamstring Injury

Justin Jefferson Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings figure to have their star wide receiver back in action before long. Wide receiver Justin Jefferson, who has been nursing an injured hamstring, is said to be “progressing”, but isn’t likely to practice this week.

Jefferson also is not on track to appear in the team’s preseason game this week, and it remains to be seen if he will suit up in the preseason at all this year.

Some even believe he’s already fully recovered.

This could be seen as a non-development considering week 1 of the 2025 NFL season is still weeks away, but Jefferson not being at 100% in mid-August is at least a tad concerning.

Jefferson remains a stellar redraft and dynasty option, while he’s not a major factor for Week 1 NFL DFS due to Minnesota playing on the Monday Night Football double-header.

If he for some reason misses the first week of the season, the likes of T.J. Hockenson, Jalen Nailor, and rookie Tai Felton could quickly become compelling plays in NFL DFS contests.
