The stars come out for Tuesday’s 3-game WNBA DFS main slate at DraftKings. Big names like A’ja Wilson, Breanna Stewart, Caitlin Clark, and Alyssa Thomas are hitting the hardwood, and there’s honestly much more than that to consider for your lineups.

With six teams in action, there are also plenty of opportunities to get different without forcing low-percentage plays. Whether you’re building around the top projected scorers or looking for lower-owned tournament pivots, roster construction will be key. Below, we’ll break down the best WNBA DraftKings picks for Tuesday, August 11, including our favorite core plays, values, and GPP picks. Let’s build!
WNBA DFS Core Plays for Tuesday
- Alyssa Thomas ($11.7k)
- Breanna Stewart ($11.5k)
- Natasha Mack ($5k)
A’ja Wilson and Caitlin Clark look great, but they’re the two most expensive plays of the slate. Given the fact that ownership seems pretty split up top – and Thomas pulls in with our lineup tool’s best projection – I’ll start builds with the Phoenix star.
I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the ladies up top tonight, but I like the projection, ceiling, savings, and potential ownership leverage. On top of that, her game has a tight spread and the second best total of the slate.
Breanna Stewart is my second favorite stud when you start looking at ownership and projections. She isn’t the top ceiling play and she doesn’t project as well as Thomas or Wilson, but she’s cheaper and may not be as owned. She’s a great option to pair with CC if you have the funds, but I like her on her own thanks to the excellent game environment.
Natasha Mack is pulling almost 70% ownership right now. That tells us more about the state of this slate than how good she is, but it’s chalk I don’t mind eating. Phoenix will be without Kelsey Plum in this one, so we could see extra minutes going to some Mercury role players. Besides, we do need to save cash somewhere.

WNBA Fantasy Picks for Tournaments (8/11)
- Shakira Austin ($11.1k)
- Sabrina Ionescu ($10.5k)
- Noemie Brochant ($5.1k)
I am not a big believer in Austin due to the matchup. She has to deal with A’ja Wilson, plus her team will be a 7.5-point underdog. That said, she still projects pretty well and nobody will want to click her. Price, matchup, and game environment all make her an under the radar tourney spend.
The same goes for Ionescu, who should benefit immensely from Indiana’s fast pace. The Liberty and Fever can both heat up from long range, and this game has the tightest spread and highest total by miles. I love Liberty players in this spot, and stacking this game in general is very appealing. But Sabrina in particular is interesting, as nobody is going to play her.
Brochant is a direct price pivot off of chalky teammate Natasha Mack. I do think Mack feels a bit more stable, but the minutes and fantasy projection are pretty close. The ownership, however, isn’t remotely close. If you want to fade the Mack chalk, consider Brochant as a massive GPP leverage play.
Monday’s WNBA DFS Value Picks
- Rebecca Allen ($5.6k)
- Brianna Turner ($4.2k)
- Valeriane Ayayi ($4.9k)
Several teams are going to be without some key bodies. The big one is Phoenix without Plum, which is going to make the aforementioned Mack and Brochant look solid. It also could help Ayayi, who projects for 15 minutes but could push for 20.
I prefer the other two Mercury values, but they’re all in play. I don’t mind Rebecca Allen or Brianna Turner, either. Turner is the most appealing in the way of saving salary, while Las Vegas is without two rotational bodies.
Allen is the safest value here in terms of role. She doesn’t do a whole lot when she’s out there, but the Liberty are without two key forwards and you couldn’t ask for a better game environment.
