Best WNBA DFS Picks Today – DraftKings Plays & Strategy (9/22)

best wnba dfs picks tuesday caitlin clark

WNBA DFS is in takeover mode on Tuesday, as we get five games on the schedule. That makes for a pretty inviting slate at DraftKings, but it also opens the door to chaos.

Yesterday’s core was strong, but I also suggested to stack the Wings game in GPPs and that was The Way. Let’s see what looks good for Tuesday night as I break down my favorite WNBA DFS picks. Let’s build!

WNBA DFS Core Plays for Tuesday

  • Caitlin Clark ($12k)
  • Olivia Miles ($11.3k)
  • Sydner Taylor ($6.9k)

It’s a big slate with a few games that project to be blowouts. That is one reason why I am pretty comfortable just paying for CC over A’ja. Fight me if you want, but Clark is in a game with a 187 total and a 1-point spread, while Wilson’s game has a 15-point spread. Clark also is $800 cheaper and only projects for five fewer fantasy points. Easy call for me, but you also could pair them if you like the value.

Ogqumike looks awesome. She projects very well for her salary, pushing for 40 fantasy points and ranking 5th in projection despite having the 7th-highest salary. The problem? She’s a 15.5-point dog. I think I’d rather just go get Collier or Miles. Right now my lean is Miles just because she offers more scoring upside. They’re basically the same price and projection, so pick a side.

Stacking that Fever/Lynx game does make a lot of sense, and it’s more cost effective than forcing A’ja into lineups. You can round out the core with Taylor, who is too cheap for a plus matchup with the Tempo. Look for her to get a boost with Chicago slated to be without up to five bodies.

Simulations can improve DFS lineups and our tool is definitely one you’ll want to give a try. Don’t take our word for it, though. See what one of our happy users has to say about it before giving it a spin (just $7 for the first week).

WNBA DraftKings Picks for GPPs (9/22)

  • Jackie Young ($11k)
  • Aliyah Boston ($10.2k)

I assume the field will just play A’ja. If true, I like going under-weight and I also don’t hate maximizing leverage by doubling down and paying for Young instead. She projects well, gets us exposure to that same tasty matchup, and saves us $1.8k by comparison.

CC should also be popular, so playing Kelsey Mitchell or Aliyah Boston should be GPP-centric ideas. I think Boston is more appealing due to price, while her tougher matchup may get people off of her.

I will say in general I want to stack up the Indiana game, but I won’t exactly force it beyond Clark/Miles/Collier. I also will say I don’t mind getting to Nneka as a comeback if you do spend on either Young or Wilson.

In terms of value, there’s a lot to consider, as we have five games, a vibrant injury report, and several blowout risks. Keep an eye on final news and starting lineups to see if we can cram some value in and get a third stud comfortably.
