Saturday brings a solid little 5-game slate on both DraftKings and FanDuel. We’ve got a few more teams on the second halves of back-to-backs, and several games feature wide point spreads. 3 of them have double-digit expected margins, in fact. One of the others – Rockets-Knicks – looks like a potential slog despite the tighter spread. Lots of value will pop up in the PHI-NOP game, which is the first on the board at 7 ET.

Philly is again down Embiid and PG, so Maxey should eat the lion’s share of the usage. He hasn’t always flashed a ceiling in these situations, but a high-total game and a tight spread against the Pelicans means we should see a full allotment of minutes. As we saw in the last game, Maxey’s floor of around 40 FPTs is high enough that he won’t tank your lineups, even if he doesn’t give you that sweet, highly coveted flame emoji. He’s also cheaper than Wemby and Cunningham and in a better expected game environment.
O-Max Prosper played 29 minutes off the bench for Memphis last night when they were shorthanded. While they may have a couple of reinforcements on the way tonight, Lawson Lovering’s 10-day expired today. They could always re-sign him, but it hasn’t happened yet. If Lovering isn’t available, Memphis is still very thin on bigs, so Prosper should continue to…fare well, even off the bench. The main thing is he’s still mega-cheap.
Drummond is much cheaper on DK ($4,500) than he is on FD ($5,600) and he should continue to start for Embiid. He’s playable on both sites in such a smash spot against the Pels, but it’s obviously easier to justify him on DK, especially where you can play multiple Cs. Edgecombe is a similar play to Maxey in terms of minutes, plus he gets a nice 3% usage hike with PG and Embiid out of the mix.
