NBA DFS Picks Today: Building Blocks (11/16)

DraftKings

  • Shaedon Sharpe
  • Tristan da Silva
  • Josh Giddey

Not a ton of value on this slate, though I do think some cheap guards (Anthony Black, Reed Sheppard) make for fine values. We’ve got a few Q tags, though nothing that looks like it’ll open up much else. If Jrue Holiday sits Portland gets very thin on guards. If Rayan Rupert starts I suppose you can take that risk, though I doubt he has much minutes ceiling. As of now my favorite cheapie is Tristan da Silva, who should start with a path to 30+ minutes with Paolo Banchero and Jalen Suggs missing from the Orlando lineup. Not a fun play – especially into ownership – but he’ll do just fine.

Josh Giddey is back, and he gets a glorious matchup against Utah. I don’t expect a limit here after his ankle injury. Coby White is back – which doesn’t help – but I do think White is likely limited in his season debut. Giddey is just a stat-stuffer averaging 1.5 FP/minute in an awesome spot, so I’m into it.
