Want a terrific foundation for winning NFL DFS lineups in week 13? Start with some of the best plays of the week. If you want some leverage, want to get different, and wish to maximize your upset, that’s what the NFL DFS GPP picks are all about.
I don’t suggest rolling all of these plays out together, but these are all likely low-owned options that offer some type of leverage or upside that can not just help differentiate your lineups, but ideally even elevate them.
Let’s dive into my favorite NFL DFS tourney pivots at DraftKings for week 13:
Cam Ward, QB, Titans ($4.6k)
There is a lot to pay up for on this slate, so you may want a QB to punt with. Trevor Lawrence is probably safer on the other side of this game, but he’s also chalky and about $1k more.
The Cam Ward Sickos are back, folks. I may not be entirely alone, either, as Ward has (gulp) looked kind of good lately. He’s coming off a career-best 23.9-point fantasy outing, after all.
It looks like he’s improved.
This week he gets the Jags, who obviously could also benefit from this matchup. But hey, Jacksonville likes to let quarterbacks go off. On the year, they have allowed the 7th most fantasy points to the position.
It feels bad, to be sure, but we can save cash and have a path to a 20+ point outing. I’d still get to a ton of Jacoby, T-Law, and Josh Allen on this assy slate, but punting with Ward is actually in play.
Kyren Williams, RB, Rams ($6.6k)
I won’t be going out of my way to get exposure to the Rams passing game since they’re all so expensive, but I do have interest in Kyren Williams at this price and next to know ownership.
Nobody wants to play Williams, as he was pure butt last week and the Rams’ passing game is much sexier. However, he could erupt this week against a weak Panthers run defense that has coughed up the 3rd most fantasy points to RBs over the last four weeks.
Williams doesn’t sound like a fun click, but he’s really not that pricey for a guy who has 16+ fantasy points in three of his last four games. This is a a smash spot and nobody will be playing him.
Emeka Egbuka, WR, Buccaneers ($6.5k)
I love the talent and price combo here. I know Egbuka has quieted down (a lot) lately, but it was just a few games ago where he reminded us of his upside with 28.5 fantasy points.
While no longer an absolute must-play option – especially with Baker Mayfield out or not 100% – Egbuka still has explosive upside and is too cheap for the ceiling he brings to the table.
Arizona also isn’t a very scary matchup, as they’re a middle of the pack unit against fantasy WRs. This is an ownership+price+ceiling play and he makes even more sense if you’re firing up Cardinals stacks.
Juwan Johnson, TE, Saints ($4.2k)
There’s going to be a good amount of interest in the pricey studs, but I really like the idea of punting tight end. Brenton Strange and a few other options are viable, but I’m cool with going back to the well with Juwan.
We loved Johnson last week and he responded with a decent 10-point fantasy outing. He’s done that in five straight games, too. There’s a certain level of reliability here, and if Juwan doesn’t gain steam, he’ll be one of my favorite values of the entire slate.
You can fire him up with Shough if you’d like, but I don’t think it’s entirely necessary. By the way, he has a really nice matchup in front of him, with the Miami Dolphins giving up the fourth most points to the position in 2025.
That does it for my top NFL DFS GPP picks for week 13. You can fire these guys all up together, or just pick your spots. I find that you don’t need to go out of your way to force so many leverage points. Just find 1-2 spots where you are clearly getting different, and beyond that you don’t need to worry about the ownership too much.
