We had another successful NFL DFS cash game week, as plays like C.J. Stroud, Puka Nacua, Ja’Marr Chase, and Fannin all helped push us past the cash line.
Let’s keep the momentum rolling as we head into Week 16. You can’t play everyone, but if you stick to my top NFL DFS cash game plays, you’ll be in good shape.

Top Week 16 Quarterback Picks
- Jacoby Brissett ($5,300)
Brissett just continues to get it done, turning in yet another performance of at least 20 fantasy points. Despite his consistency, his price has somehow dropped this week. He should have his full complement of weapons available, making him a strong and reliable cash-game option once again.
- Gardner Minshew ($4,500)
With Mahomes officially ruled out for the season, it’s Gardner Minshew’s time to step in. The situation isn’t perfect, and with Rice trending toward sitting there is some risk, but his salary allows you to pay up for multiple studs at other positions.
Best RB Plays for Week 16
- Bijan Robinson ($8,700)
With the ability to go cheap at quarterback this week, we can comfortably pay up for elite talent at running back. Bijan sits at the top of that list, drawing a great matchup against the Cardinals and offering one of the safest ceilings on the slate.
- Jahmyr Gibbs ($8,500)
Ignore last week’s stinker. Gibbs is in a prime bounce-back spot against the Steelers and remains heavily involved in both the rushing and passing game.
- Aaron Jones ($5,200)
There is a bit of concern with Jones splitting work with Mason, but the matchup is simply too good to ignore. The Giants have been the worst rushing defense in the league, making Jones an excellent value at this price.
Top Week 16 Wide Receivers
- Ja’Marr Chase ($8,600)
With Joe Burrow expected to play, I’m completely comfortable rolling Chase out again this week. His ceiling and floor combination keeps him firmly in cash consideration.
- Amon-Ra St. Brown ($8,400)
The Sun God is in a great spot this week. The Lions carry a high implied team total, and Amon-Ra continues to command elite volume with double-digit targets.
- Cortland Sutton ($5,700)
Sutton stands out as a strong mid-range option. The matchup and price are both favorable, and Jacksonville has shown they can be beaten through the air.
- Adonai Mitchell ($4,500)
Mitchell draws a solid matchup against the Jets and has been playing well recently. At this price point, he offers nice salary relief while still maintaining a reasonable floor.
Best Tight End Picks for Week 16
- Travis Kelce ($4,700)
With Rice trending toward being out, those targets have to go somewhere, and Kelce is the most logical beneficiary. The Titans have struggled against tight ends, making this a strong spot.
- Harold Fannin Jr. ($4,500)
Not the best matchup on paper, but Sanders looks Fanin’s way often. Cleveland will likely need to throw to stay competitive, and Fanin has proven to be the most reliable target.
Top NFL DFS Defenses This Week
- Bills ($3,500)
Good price and matchup. This is a safe, no-frills cash-game defense.
- Jets ($2,100)
The punt play of the week. It’s not pretty, but Shough is very sackable, and at this price the Jets allow you to spend up elsewhere.
That does it for my top NFL DFS cash plays for week 16. If you’re paying for more advice, make sure you soak it all up. A great way to do that is to just bookmark our NFL DFS section. Good luck this week!
