Week 14 is here, and this slate feels a lot easier to get a handle on after the weirdness we dealt with last week. Some of our calls smashed, others didn’t quite get there, but that’s how it goes — this is a great spot to reset and dive back into our NFL DFS picks with a clean slate.
There’s a ton of value across the board this week, from underpriced quarterbacks to running backs stepping into dream matchups, plus several wideouts who should see big bumps in usage thanks to injuries around them. It all sets up nicely for building strong NFL DFS cash game plays without overthinking things.
Let’s jump into the position-by-position breakdown and build something that gets us back in the green for Week 14.
Top Cash Game Quarterbacks
Jacoby Brissett ($5,700)
Kevin has him listed in his GPP article, but he carries enough ownership to be viable in cash this week. The matchup on paper is horrendous, but all he does is throw. The Cardinals should be trailing, and the negative game script sets up well.
Trevor Lawrence ($5,400)
We suggested Lawrence last week and he paid off. He has his full complement of weapons, some rushing upside, and a favorable matchup against a Colts defense you can throw on.
Best Running Backs for Week 14 DFS
De’Von Achane ($8,800)
He is the Dolphins’ offense, and his workload is phenomenal.
James Cook ($7,800)
For $1,000 cheaper, Cook is an elite play. He’s having an excellent season and gets quite possibly the worst run defense in the league. Cook is my favorite RB in all formats this week.
Kenneth Walker ($5,600)
He remains the lead back and draws a juicy matchup against the Falcons. He’s currently questionable, so monitor injury news.
Jordan Mason ($5,800) and Zach Charbonnet ($5,100)
If Jones or Walker sit, these two become near-locks for cash.
Best Wide Receiver Picks
Puka Nacua ($8,700)
Great matchup, no weather concerns, and elite target share.
Ja’Marr Chase ($8,200)
A key decision point this week: Puka or Chase. Chase has elite usage, saves you $500, and has Burrow back.
Michael Wilson ($5,600)
With Harrison Jr. and Dortch likely out, Wilson should see a significant target bump. He’s a strong pairing with Brissett.
Christian Watson ($5,200)
He’s clearly Love’s go-to option. Watson’s target share has risen every game since his return. Love the price and the matchup.
Adonai Mitchell ($4,600)
Looks like all he needed was a change of scenery. Tyrod loves him, and with Wilson out, his role is secure.
Top Week 14 Tight Ends
Tyler Warren ($5,000)
Back in cash-game consideration. Strong matchup in what projects to be a high-scoring game.
Kyle Pitts ($4,200)
With London out, Pitts’ targets have increased. Seattle struggles against tight ends, boosting his appeal.
Best Defenses for Week 14
Browns ($3,700)
Continuing the theme of targeting Cam Ward.
Titans ($2,900)
Not an elite defense, but they get to face the Browns.
Raiders ($2,000)
An extreme punt. They’re bad, no doubt — but the price opens up a lot of studs.
